I saw this show the last time it was in Providence, “The Simon & Garfunkel Story” is coming back to the Providence Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 8 at 8P. The return engagement features Elliot Lazar as Paul Simon.
This story starts at the very beginning of the careers of Simon and Garfunkel when they were known as Tom & Jerry. It follows the duo’s incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60s and delves into their dramatic split in 1970.
The smash hit show wraps up with “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 which had more than half a million fans in attendance.
