Would You Pay A Toll To Fund CC Bridge Projects

State officials are not ruling out the possibility of collecting tolls to help pay for the construction of the new Bourne and Sagamore bridges.

The project will cost well over four-billion-dollars and so far only about half of that money has been socked away.

Even if a billion-dollar federal grant comes through, another billion or so will still be needed to fully fund construction, and the money will have to come from somewhere.

But state officials say although considered, nothing is cast in stone yet.
