Pet Of The Week...A Quartet Of Ducks!

Meet ARL’s Duck Quartet!

ARL’s Brewster Animal Care and Adoption Center is currently looking for new homes for four (4) 3-year old female ducks who were recently surrendered.

These ladies are a bit on the shy side, so it will be important to go slow with them and allow them to settle into their new environment.

You do not need a permit to own a domesticated duck, however you will need a proper environment for them to thrive. An enclosure to keep them warm and protected from the element, as well as an outdoor fenced area to give them room to roam, while protecting them from predators.

The ducks all have unique and beautiful coloring, and have been living in ARL’s barn, with access to an outdoor paddock.

Ducks are fun and curious animals, and over time will come out of their shells and allow for more interaction.

Before adoption, ARL will need to see a photograph of their new environment.
