Provincetown officials say its “Lease to Locals” program will continue.
The program offers financial incentives to property owners to switch from short-term to year-round rentals for local residents.
In the program’s pilot year, 55 residents who live locally year-round were able to secure housing in 33 properties.
The aim is to increase available housing; units are subject to maximum rental rates based on size, and rates may not change for the second year.
The new program year starts April 1st; those interested may apply at place mate dot com forward slash Provincetown.
