Nantucket says its DPW facility is too small and outdated to meet the Town's growing needs and there are plans for a new facility on Shadbush Road that would include the Hunting Association's Shooting and Archery Range.
The Town says the project will improve efficiency and public services and provide a dedicated space for shooting sports and archery.
In addition, officials say the project will include roadway improvements and utility extensions.
Residents can learn more about the proposal during two upcoming Open Houses.
The meetings will be held on April 5th and 19th, but no other details have been released yet.
