Counselors are being made available to students and staff at a pair of Cape schools following the death of a teacher.
Thirty-five-year-old Shannon Hubbard, who taught at Harwich Elementary before moving to Chatham Elementary this year to lead the pre-K program, died along with her one-year-old daughter in a house fire Sunday in Clinton, New York.
Her husband John, who's a cop with the Dennis PD, and their three-year-old son were hurt in the blaze but survived.
The family had rented the 1840s farmhouse through Airbnb.
