A former Major League Baseball player is joining the Falmouth Commodores as field manager.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia played in the Majors from 2007 to 2018, including a 2013 run with the Red Sox that culminated in a World Series championship.
The team says Saltalamacchia brings a wealth of experience to the role, having played in Major League Baseball and coaching for collegiate and high school organizations since 2019, including the Cape Cod Baseball League.
