The National Transportation Safety Board is continuing to investigate a small plane's emergency landing on Nauset Light Beach in Eastham.

The NTSB says the Cessna 172 was in the air for about 15-minutes before it was forced to land on June 16th and there was substantial damage to the aircraft.

The plane was carrying the pilot and two passengers and there were no injuries.

The NTSB is conducting a Class Four investigation, which is limited to identifying the cause of the emergency landing. There is no word yet on when the agency will release its final report.
