A woman from Maryland is accused of driving drunk and crashing into street signs in Hyannis.

Police say 48-year-old Michelle Stallings was later stopped in the town of Yarmouth, with the damaged vehicle emitting sparks as she drove with signs under her vehicle.

After her arrest, police say Stallings blood alcohol level was point two five, which is over three times the legal limit to drive.

Stallings was charged with OUI, and was also charged by Barnstable Police for a hit-and-run the same night.
