An investigation continues in Hyannis after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the head Wednesday night.
The Cape and Islands DA’s office says Barnstable Police responded to a home on Oakview Terrace in Hyannis just before 6:00 p.m. to find 50-year-old Eric Christensen on the kitchen floor with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet said if they have any suspects.
The DA’s office is not releasing any more information at this time.
