A Korean War soldier who was missing in action for over 70 years will be buried today in Bourne.
First Lieutenant Thomas Redgate was pronounced missing in action in December of 1950.
Redgate was positively identified last year as being in one of 55 boxes of remains returned to the U.S. by North Korea in 2018.
His remains arrived in Boston on Tuesday, and Redgate will be buried today at the Massachusetts National Cemetery with full military honors.
