Katherine Schwarzenegger has welcomed her first child with Chris Pratt!
The bestselling author and Guardians of the Galaxy actor are new parents to a baby girl. Katherine’s younger brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, confirmed the news to Entertainment Tonight on Sunday (August 9).
The news came after paparazzi caught up with Patrick while leaving a market in Santa Barbara, California, at which point he spilled the beans on becoming an uncle.
“They’re doing great — just got her a little gift,” Patrick told the outlet before showing off a gift with a pink ribbon, hinting that the married couple welcomed a daughter. (It’s unclear if the gift was for Katherine or the couple’s new baby.)
Without revealing exactly when Katherine gave birth, an insider told ET Pratt’s car was seen at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Friday (August 7). Additionally, Katherine's dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, mother Maria Shriver, and siblings, Christina and Christopher, were also pictured visiting the new mommy at her home afterward.
As fans know, the couple’s new baby joins Chris’ first child, 7-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife, actress Anna Faris.
The pair’s pregnancy news was announced in April, just 10 months after the lovebirds tied the knot in June 2019.
"Chris and Katherine are extremely happy to be pregnant with their first child," a source told ET at the time. "The couple knew going into their relationship that having kids together was important to them, so when they found out the news, they were extremely happy. Although Katherine was busy promoting her book in the beginning of her pregnancy, she now has time to be at home and get things ready for when the new addition arrives. Chris is so excited."
Congratulations, Katherine and Chris!
