A reminder that today is the start of the shotgun deer hunting season.
State officials say that you can start hunting a half hour before sunrise through a half hour after sunset. Hunters can’t hunt on Sunday.
State officials are also asking residents who use wooded trails to be sure to wear orange to be visible to hunters.
