Eversource officials say they have reduced the number and length of power outages on The Cape this year. Officials say that it has proven to be the strongest reliability since 2013.
Officials say overall --the coverage area saw a 26 percent decline in outages.
The company says its improvements made the electric system smarter and more efficient.
