Meghan Moore tragically passed a year ago, and since then, her family, friends, and cape cod community have rallied together to create the Meghan Constance Moore Memorial Foundation.
We are hosting a 5K run in Meghan's honor. It's a $50 entry fee to sign up to run, walk, or volunteer! The run is a short 3 mile route ending in Hyannis. There will be music, entertainment, beverages supplied, and every participant will receive a dogwood tree to plant in Megs Memory Whether running, volunteering, or just watching everyone is welcome to come and show their support.
The purpose of the Meghan Constance Moore Memorial Fund is to perpetually provide financial assistance to high school athletes to further their education at two and four-year colleges, creating a lasting legacy of Meghan Constance Moore's life. All student-athletes attending secondary school in Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties are eligible for financial assistance. Additionally, the Meghan Constance Moore Memorial Fund will contribute $10,000 a year to New England College in Meghan Constance Moore and Sidney Maria Capolino’s name.
