Stories of Survival - Conversations with Our First Responders

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School Auditorium

Every day, Cape Cod’s first responders answer the call - often facing situations that take a serious toll on their mental and emotional health.

That’s why Emerald Hollow Therapeutic Riding Center in Brewster has launched The Equus Effect Program for First Responders - a free, equine-assisted program designed to help police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and dispatchers manage stress, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves.

To raise awareness and support for this life-changing initiative, you’re invited to a powerful community event featuring the award-winning documentary First Responders in Crisis - a gripping look at the silent battles faced by those who serve.

Wednesday, May 7th at Dennis-Yarmouth High School Auditorium

Screening begin at 6:30 PM.

Following the screening, stay for an engaging panel discussion featuring first responders:

The conversation will be led by retired Police Chief Frank Frederickson and includes perspectives from EMTs, law enforcement officers, trauma specialists, and program leaders - plus a special performance by the D-Y Regional High School Chorus!

Tickets are $25, and all proceeds go directly to support The Equus Effect Program at Emerald Hollow, ensuring it remains free of charge for those who need it most.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.emeraldhollow.org. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for each event as long as seats remain available.

Let’s show our support for the people who protect and serve us every day.
