Walk To Boune National Cemetery Supports Vets With PTSD

A solemn march from southeastern Mass to the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

It is called “Vest Up 4 the Fallen.”

It is a sixty-five mile walk that started on The Boston Common and will end later today at the cemetery.

Those that are walking this year are wearing 24-pound weighted vests.

Officials say that the vests symbolize the immense weight that the families of those who have died in the line of duty are facing every day.

The group raises money for Gold Star families as well as veterans who are suffering from PTSD.
