Police Say An Apparent Murder Suicide Took Place Overnight In Hyannis

An apparent murder suicide took place overnight in Hyannis. Barnstable police say they responded to a residence on Murray Way after a call for an assault came from inside the home just before three this morning. A large police presence responded to the scene and upon investigation it was determined what had apparently taken place. State police detectives and Barnstable police are continuing their investigation. Police say there is no danger to the public.
