Health & Community Leaders Ask The State To Stop Coronavirus For Granted

Public health and community leaders are urging state officials not to take coronavirus for granted this Fall and Winter. A group led by the Massachusetts Coalition for Health Equity is seeking more comprehensive covid policies, saying the pandemic is not over. The call for new action on the virus comes after state officials announced that there will be no statewide testing or mask mandates in schools in the upcoming academic year. The group are also calling for a robust vaccination drive to coincide with the start of the school year.
