A petition has been filed with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging a decision by the state’s highest court to uphold the Governor’s pandemic orders.
Attorney for the new Civil Liberties Alliance Mike DeGrandis says it’s really state lawmakers who should have the power to manage a pandemic, not just the Governor.
DeGrandis cited the state’s public health act. He also says the constitutional rights of Massachusetts residents have been violated as well.
