Governor Baker Continues Reopening Plan For State

The phased-in reopening is moving forward in Massachusetts even as other states pull back due to a spike in Coronavirus cases. 

Governor Charlie Baker says reopening can continue because individuals and businesses having been following recommended guidelines to slow the spread. 

However, the governor cautions there can be no easing up and that people must remain vigilant.

State officials say there were just two new cases of Covid-19 reported in Barnstable County. Now, 1,547 cases. 

Officials reporting the death toll at 147. 

No change in any of the numbers out of Nantucket or Dukes Counties.
