During this week's Dennis town meeting, voters will consider a petition to lift a ban on recreational marijuana dispensaries.
The so-called marijuana shop measure calls for deleting a 2017 bylaw prohibiting the businesses and replace it with a zoning bylaw that would allow the shops to set up by special permit in certain zoning districts.
The Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed petition at its meeting this evening.
