The Internal Revenue Service has seized two Orleans properties in lieu of unpaid taxes and allowed the sites to fall into disrepair.

The single-family homes in the first block of Brewster Cross Road are owned by David Delgizzi and are assessed at just over 955 thousand dollars.

Delgizzi, who lives in Weston, owes nearly one point nine million dollars to the IRS and over 379 thousand to the state.

Officials say Delgizzi has repeatedly failed to appear in court or requested delays and failed to provide complete tax documents.

The properties go to auction on Tuesday.

Officials in Weston have filed to seize Delgizzi's home as well.
