Chatham Celebrates Marconi Day

Chatham Marconi Maritime Center

This Saturday is International Marconi Day. It is a tribute to radio’s early experimenter on what would have been his 150th birthday.

The Marconi station in Chatham on Cape Cod endures to this day as a museum and youth education center, and on Saturday, April 27th you are invited come see for yourself.

You can learn about the early days of communication and watch live demonstrations of legacy Morse Code messages being sent around the world from the original radio operations building, constructed over one-hundred years ago, at Ryders Cove in Chatham.

Celebrate International Marconi Day.

This Saturday from 10 to 4.

Admission is free to Cape and Islands residents.
